Luana AG is now a member of the “Climate-friendly SMEs” initiative

SMEs move forward together

The VEA initiative “Climate-friendly SMEs” supports SMEs in acting in a more climate-friendly way and saving CO₂. Many well-known German companies such as Continentale Krankenversicherung, beckers bester, VILSA, Ritzenhoff AG, and the Radeberger Group, as well as more than 850 other companies from a wide range of industries, have already joined the initiative.

Luana AG has also been a member since March 2024.

According to the initiative, all members actively address climate protection in their companies and pursue the goal of reducing CO₂ and achieving climate neutrality. The initiative’s services support and empower companies on their individual path to a better carbon footprint.

We are pleased to be able to actively support other members with our offers for ecological energy supply (such as photovoltaic solutions) in saving CO₂ and on their way to climate neutrality.

What is the aim of the initiative?

Working together for more climate protection

The VEA initiative “Climate-friendly SMEs” aims to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in improving their energy efficiency and becoming more climate-friendly. The VEA (Bundesverband der Energie-Abnehmer e.V.) is an association of SMEs in Germany that has been in existence for more than 70 years and has over 4,500 members.

The initiative aims to help SMEs reduce their CO₂ emissions, cut energy costs and operate more sustainably overall. To this end, it offers advice and support in the implementation of energy efficiency measures. The aim is for companies to increase their energy efficiency, use renewable energies and thus make a contribution to climate protection.

The VEA initiative “Climate-friendly SMEs” shows companies ways in which they can act in an ecologically responsible manner, which not only benefits the environment but also brings economic advantages. The aim is therefore to accompany and support SMEs on their way to greater sustainability and climate protection.
