Luana wins contract for 4 major projects

Luana has been awarded four EEG projects with a total electrical output of 16 MW in Lower Saxony and North Rhine-Westphalia. Seven highly efficient biomethane CHP units feed the electricity into the public grid under the fixed remuneration of the EEG 2021. The coupled heat is sold to four vegetable farms over 20 years with a guaranteed purchase volume.

The four large-scale projects are being developed together with our strategic partner Weltec Biopower GmbH, a leading global specialist in the construction and operation of biogas and biomethane plants. Currently, an investment volume of 12 million euros is expected.
