Hamburg, July 2, 2024—Hamburg-based Luana AG has concluded two long-term contracts with Wohnpark Segeberger Forst GmbH for the supply of electricity and heat to a senior citizens‘ residence in Bark, Schleswig-Holstein (Segeberg district).

In March 2024, Wohnpark Segeberger Forst GmbH, a subsidiary of the retirement and care home operator stb-care Holding GmbH, took over the operation of the modern residential park with 87 single rooms and concluded a contract with Luana AG for the supply of heat with an initial term of 20 years at the beginning of March. In June, this was supplemented by a contract for the supply of electricity with an initial term of 15 years. Both contracts can be extended after the initial term and Luana AG has had a combined heat and power plant at the site since 2022, which can supply the entire residential park with electricity and heat independently and reliably.
